Variable condenser fan speed control

SYMPTOMS
Chillers equipped with variable condenser fan speed control is tripping on high head pressure (Hi1) fault. Condenser fan(s) are not working properly.

CAUSE
ICM condenser variable fan speed control is not set properly or has been modified from factory settings. Control sensor(s) may not be secured to the proper location.

RESOLUTION
The attached PDF document provides factory setting and sensor(s) location information. Before making the determination that the condenser fan motor or ICM condenser variable speed control is defective, check to make sure the control is set as per the factory recommendation. It is also important to check that the condenser variable fan speed control sensor(s) are secure in the proper locations also indicated on the attached PDF document.
