SYMPTOMS After installing the Legacy remote display micro-processor unit, user is NOT able to make changes to the system programming.
CAUSE All Legacy remote display micro-processor units are shipped from the factory in the RDU - "STD MODE". This will only allow review of the system program. In order to make changes to the chillers program remotely, the Legacy remote display micro-processor unit’s needs to be in the RDU - "OPD" mode.
RESOLUTION Download and/or review the latest revision of the Legacy Installation Operations booklet for complete instructions.
Note: Until Legacy remote display micro-processor unit can be set to OPT mode, all programming can be performed from the chiller mounted control.
