Chiller System Problems - Chiller Won't Start

SUMMARY
This article describes what to do when you cannot get your chiller to properly start. It is most likely caused by a microprocessor problem or microprocessor power.

SYMPTOMS
Proper high voltage power has been attached to chiller and turned on. There are six LED dots showing in the microprocessor screen however the chiller will not start.

CAUSE
Chiller will not start because the microprocessor is OFF.

RESOLUTION
Press the "Power" button located at the upper right of the microprocessor. You must depress the power button for 3-5 seconds in order to turn on the system. When the system comes on you will see the chiller supply temperature in the upper and lower windows and the green "Pwr" light located on the upper left will be on.

APPLIES TO
All Legacy models with microprocessor controllers.
